Using MidlifeCare
Terms of use
These terms set clear boundaries for using MidlifeCare Africa as a personal health journal and appointment-preparation tool.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
What the service does
MidlifeCare helps adults record changes, organise questions and prepare a summary for a healthcare conversation. Core journal features are available on the Free plan. Optional Plus features are available through a paid subscription.
Subscriptions and payment
Plus prices, billing intervals and included features are shown before checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. Payments are processed securely by Paystack. You can cancel through the subscription-management page, and paid access will ordinarily continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not promise refunds for a partly used billing period except where required by law or expressly agreed after you contact us.
Not medical care
MidlifeCare does not diagnose menopause or any other condition, provide emergency care, prescribe medicine or create a clinician-patient relationship. General content may not fit your medical history. A qualified clinician must assess symptoms and treatment choices.
Your responsibilities
- Provide only information you have the right to record.
- Protect access to your email and devices.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, scrape or attempt unauthorised access to the service.
- Do not rely on the service for an emergency or delay care because of information shown here.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or withdraw features for safety, security, legal or operational reasons. If a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will take reasonable steps to explain the available options. Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.
Your content
You keep ownership of the journal content you enter. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service as described in our privacy notice.
Limits
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without a promise that it will meet every personal or clinical need. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions can be sent to hello@aurumdigitalconsulting.com.
